Galatta.com launched its 100% LEGAL Music-downloads channel on June 12 th (Monday) 2006. Vikram along with music director Harris Jayaraj clicked the mouse to launch the channel by downloading the song “Paartha Mudhal Naale” from Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu .
Cool ‘Chiyaan' Vikram managed to squeeze in some time for us amidst his busy shooting schedule to attend the function. In fact he landed at Sathyam Theatres straight from a shooting! The press got all lively and excited as soon as Vikram made his appearance. The good-natured star was so patient and amiable to the press and stayed long after the function to answer all their questions!
Chiyaan Vikram floored us at Galatta.com with his words of praise, as he has had many firsts with us! His first official website www.chiyaanvikramonline.com was created by Galatta.com, his first chat online with fans was on Galatta.com and Galatta.com happens to be the first online portal where Chiyaan has a really good rapport with the people. He was very friendly with the Galatta team members and took pictures with all of them.
Chiyaan said he admired Galatta's unbiased movie reviews which are never meant to hurt anyone concerned with the movie. It takes a lot of effort and pain to take a movie however big or small it maybe! And he admired Galatta for empathizing with the producers and directors of the movie and realizing the amount of hard work and efforts that go into bringing a movie to the audience.
